8 Small Life Coach-Approved Habits for Success

Begin the day with a bang by carefully selecting your activities and priorities for the next day. You'll sleep better with one less thing on your mind, and you'll accomplish more if you don't spend your morning planning your day.

1. Make a "to-do" list each night

No matter what your aim is, one action is more vital than the others. Determine the action and focus on it until it is completed. After creating your to-do list, narrow it down to the most critical task and begin your day there. While others are concerned with doing what is easiest, you will concentrate on what is most effective. The difference is enormous.

2. Ruthlessly prioritize your activities

Many people claim to function well on 4-6 hours of sleep, however new research has revealed that no one is as effective with six hours of sleep as they are with seven. If you sleep less than seven hours per night, you're underperforming.

3. Get 7-8 hours of sleep

Getting in touch with your spirituality is vital for your creativity and overall well-being. 15 minutes every day provides a welcome break and opportunity to recover.

4. Meditate or pray each day

Continue to remind yourself of your aims. Your brain is great at problem solving, so constantly reminding it of the main obstacle in your life. Reviewing your goals establishes and maintains a target.

5. Review your goals at least once per day

Imagine how much easier life would be if you avoided such blunders. To avoid repeating mistakes, review your day and acknowledge your triumphs and shortcomings. Start in the morning and work chronologically. “What could I have done better?” Create a better solution next time. Review your triumphs. Labeling them will enhance their likelihood of recurrence.

6. Review your day each night

Exercise not only benefits your health, but it also boosts your alertness and self-esteem. The vast majority of successful people say they exercise every day, rain or shine. It doesn't matter when you workout, but most top performers do it in the morning.

7. Exercise daily

Though trendy today, mindfulness has been around for at least 2500 years. Mindfulness is detached awareness of thoughts and environment. Focusing on the task at hand. Prevent future worries and regrets. Your day will be more productive and fun. Manage your habits. Habits are repeated actions without willpower. You'll probably clean your teeth every night without stress. Exercise can be done easily too. Start small with one behavior. Grow as each activity becomes habitual.
